Services Offered
-
Psychiatric Evaluations
The initial appointment involves a 60-minute evaluation focused on your current concerns, level of functioning, and relevant personal, family, and medical history. This information allows for the development of a tailored treatment plan. In some cases, 1–2 additional 60-minute sessions may be scheduled to complete the full evaluation depending on clinical complexity and history.
-
Medication Management
Medication management includes support with initiating or discontinuing medications, education around treatment options, monitoring, and side effect management. The goal is to ensure that medication decisions are collaborative, evidence-based, and aligned with your treatment needs. Pharmacogenetic testing may be offered when clinically appropriate to help guide medication choices.
-
Holistic Care
I approach care with a whole-person perspective, recognizing that mental health is shaped by multiple factors. As part of treatment, we may explore how routines, sleep, nutrition, physical activity, social connections, and medical health contribute to overall wellbeing. Lifestyle considerations are addressed in collaboration with primary treatment goals and medication management, with the goal of supporting both stability and long-term functioning.
-
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is integrated into most sessions within the context of evaluation and medication management. My approach is primarily integrative, drawing from psychodynamic, CBT, emotion-focused, attachment-based, and lifestyle-oriented interventions. While we may address thoughts and behaviors, I emphasize the emotional, relational, and developmental factors that shape current patterns. Sessions support both symptom stabilization and deeper insight as appropriate.
